Dimple membrane it is not sold as a thermal insulating material but gives anyway a contribution to thermal insulation of the building
You can use any additional subfloor on top of OSB as per manufacturer guidelines. However, there are no additional advantages because DamPro dimples only make contact with concrete, and 80% of the DamPro creates an air gap. OSB on the top should be good enough to keep your floor warm.
You don't need to overlap for horizontal use as floor underlayment. It should be joined side by side with tuck tape.
Yes, laminate or hardwood floors can be directly installed on top of the DamPro. However, we recommend the OSB subfloor on top of DamPro for better results.
It depends on the plank’s thickness and stability. We advise installing the OSB subfloor on top of DamPro before installing a Vinyl floor.
